Paramount Digital today unveiled a new project that will bring the Star Trek franchise on Xbox 360. The game, at precisely known simply as Star Trek, due out in 2012 just like an action adventure with elements of cooperation developed by Digital Extremes, the study author of Dark Sector and The Darkness II.

Players will in fact an opportunity to be part of the new Star Trek universe created by JJ Abrams, taking on the role of Spock and Captain Kirk with an opportunity to address a two-player cooperative mode. The story is completely unprecedented, would be written by Marianne Krawczyk, of God of War and screenwriter who won a BAFTA award in collaboration with Bob Orci and Alex Kurtzman, writers and producers of the film.
