Rumor: 3D HD coming to Xbox 360?

According to a source site Eurogamer, Microsoft would be ready to announce at E3 support for 3D high-definition Xbox 360. All games in 3D stereo out so far on the console (the most recent Crysis Virtua Tennis 2 and 4), in fact, using the technique of dividing the frame for the right eye and left on the two halves of the screen, only to have them recognized from TV as a single 3D image three-dimensional: it has the disadvantage of producing images with a resolution reduced by half compared to normal.

The source of Eurogamer has instead explained that, provided you have a console with HDMI output, with a software update, the console will be capable of delivering high-resolution 3D video, as already happens on the PS3.

Last year, Aaron Greenberg, the boss of the production for Xbox, he suggests that Microsoft could take the road of full support to 3D only when the market has responded positively: it is possible that the time is ripe for this.

At this point, so we just have to wait for the Microsoft E3 2011 conference, scheduled for June 6.
