According to a source site MCV , EA have decided to release its flagship FPS Battlefield 3, in the earliest possible date that the new Call of Duty and would seek direct confrontation with the series on the market Activision. The source of the site revealed that Battlefield 3 should come out a few days before the new COD, without even mean that both games could come out the same day.

EA has run refused to comment on the report, which certainly has put pressure on Activision for the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, so as to decide who should receive the title of undisputed king of FPS of this year.

"EA has not been shy with Battlefield 3 COD and tackle it head on. We are ready to get a few days of their release," the source said, mole of 'EA.
