The Tale, a blog post weekly updates from Shounen Jump (a major Japanese magazine), revealed the existence of a new Dragon Ball game. In the latest issue of the magazine speaks of a title called "Dragon Ball Game Age Project 2011," defined as "Dragon Ball game ever seen before."

We do not know what this means, if it could mean the development of an RPG or adventure or something else: it seems however that this is something that goes beyond the classic fighting seen so far. Also according to Shounen Jump, however, the game should get hd on consoles by the end of the year, so it is reasonable to expect an announcement on the subject at E3 or at TGS 2011.
