Following the rumor a few days ago, Warner Bros. Interactive has confirmed that the U.S. site NowGamer Mortal Kombat will have a mechanism quite similar to the Online Pass EA. The packaging of the game will contain a code to activate the multiplayer title, while those who do not have the code will be entitled to a two-day free trial of online gameplay, after which they must purchase passes for 800 MSP. No information so far on the presence of similar mechanisms in other future titles from the publisher.
