Apparently Crytek does not intend to fight the secondhand market, witness the fact that the promising Crysis 2 will not contain the pass online, or that specific registration code included in every new package at retail and used a once to access online services and additional content of a game.

Crytek said that Crysis does not want the introduction of this second digital strategy for two very specific reasons: all players must be able to try the product online, even if in possession of a used copy and the second reason, the developers feel that in this way, they will gain even more favor with users and to widen the circle of fans.

Crysis 2 will be released in Europe on March 25.
