Batman Arkham City: no multiplayer, new images

In an interview with IGN, the game director of Rocksteady Studios, Sefton Hill, has revealed some interesting information about Batman: Arkham City. First Hill has denied the presence of any type of multiplayer element in the game, saying: "There have been many rumors about it, but I want to say once and for all that Arkham City is only single-player experience."

Hill continued: "We decided to add the multiplayer but then we said it would be better to focus exclusively on the single-player game to create a better whole." The game director also spoke of Hugo Strange and Catwoman, saying that in Arkham City is the first time that Batman and Strange will meet decision made taking into account the fact that some fans might not know the character. As for Catwoman, however, will be one of the first villains to be locked up in Arkham City and Hill pointed out that Catwoman does not line up ever on the part of anyone in a net.

We really hope that Rocksteady can give us an even better game than its predecessor. Leaving a new image for the title, we remind you that Batman: Arkham City will be released in autumn 2011.
