The latest news on the development of the third installment of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare dates back to a year ago when the team is rumored that Infinity Ward would not have dealt with the game in question as given in all probability to a 'other house developer, that of the Sledgehammer Games. Today an article appeared in the Company Town Blog, linked head to LA Times reports that Infinity Ward will not leave the scene like the voices but wanted to develop the title in close collaboration with Sledgehammer Games, and more, with Raven Software.

And again according to the same source, Sledgehammer Games would be dealing with the single-player campaign, while Raven Software's work should focus on the multiplayer part of the title. It was also reported that the game should be marketed, as usual, in November.

We remind you , finally, that some rumor leaked online a few months ago saying that the game will be set in space, and players may play as the Space Marines.

We await clarification about the whole thing by Activision.
