NPD: U.S. sales for the month of December

The financial analysis firm NPD has released hardware sales figures and market American console software for the month of December 2010. For the last month of the year for Xbox 360 has had exceptional sales and the only console with a positive trend compared to the same month the previous year and marking the record sales for the platform, despite failing to finish in the head as in the past few months due to Microsoft-explains-a dearth of console within the shops.

On the software front, CoD: Black Ops dominates the rankings followed by other titles including Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and NFS: Hot Pursuit , who managed to win the battle with the unique Sony Gran Turismo 5 , absent from the Top 10 in its second month of presence in stores. Below is the complete rankings.
