New details on Avatar Kinect

After revealing Avatar Kinect this CES, Microsoft has revealed some interesting details about the new functionality that will arrive this spring on Xbox 360. David Dennis, a spokesman for Redmond, told Kotaku that the microphones of the system will use an advanced facial recognition system to understand every nuance of the people in front of the camera by recognizing the movement of parts of the face such as eyebrows and mouth so that they can then replicate our Avatar: in this way, our virtual alter-ego does not only produce our actions but also our facial expressions.

The chat virtual avatar Kinect will provide up to 8 people connected at once and will be included in one of the 15 rooms offered at first, like a living room or meeting room of City Hall. Another interesting feature the possibility to record up to 10 minutes of chat to be able to download the entire movie from the site Kinectshare.com From here we can also share them on Facebook, YouTube or other networks.

The idea of giving everyone the opportunity to record a podcast or video presentation and be able to make available to their friends and contacts, ensuring the anonymity provided by your avatar. People living in the world can meet in real virtual conferences, with the possibility then share it all.

Avatar Kinect does not have an official date, but it will come this spring on Xbox 360.
