After the announcement to the VGA in December, EA has released the first details about the reboot of the famous series of snowboarding: SSX Deadly Descents. The first novelty is that the title will have a rewind button, like in Forza 3, rewind time and correct mistakes made during the descents. They will then present a total of 17 regions (including the confirmation of the Himalayas, the Alps, Siberia, Kilimanjaro and the Caucasus), with 70 different selectable mountains.

The mountains will be generated automatically in the game, and some will have a realistic topography based on the data provided by Google Earth.

Each mountain has its characteristics of personal danger, like thin air, temperature and ice. The rewards obtained by overcoming the various challenges will be crucial to survive and complete the challenges of higher level. There will also be tracks "arcade" with natural shortcuts.
