Christmas is approaching and like last year, Epic Games has decided to propose to all players Gears of War 2 Gearsmas the event to be held just at Christmas, from December 22 until the beginning of the new year. First details revealed by Rod Fergusson indicate that the event will begin with the multiplayer experience multiplied by 12 to get to the last day with the multiplier to 23: every day that passes the counter increased by one multiplier.

As with any important event, will be made available to players golden weapons (Lancer and Hammerburst) every day while the multiplayer will undergo a mutation. The first day (which starts from the first afternoon of December 22 and ends around 16 the next day) will return the pre-patch smoke grenades, grenades, or those who smoke more than the stun opponents for a few seconds.
