NPD: U.S. sales for the month of November

The financial analysis firm NPD has released hardware sales figures and market American console software for the month of November 2010. Xbox 360 dominates for sixth consecutive month hardware ranking by placing considerable number of one and a half million units, surpassing more than 200,000 Wii and PS3 console by detaching of over 800,000 pieces.

It is unclear for now as the Kinect has hurt Microsoft's victory, since there are no ranking titles launch line-up of motion sensor: NPD has confirmed it was the best-selling accessory in November. Xbox 360 has sold 68% more than in November 2009, while the console Sony registered a negative deflection of 25% compared to last year, despite the release of the flagship title Gran Turismo 5 .

On the software front is undisputed ruler CoD: Black Ops , selling an impressive number of 8.4 million copies the majority of which are for the Xbox 360. To make a comparison, CoD: Modern Warfare 2 placed about 6 million copies in its debut in November 2009. Good results also for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, ' Beggars Banquet from reaching second in the standings Fable III and in fifth position.
