Del Rey Books, a publishing company specializing in fantasy and science fiction books, today announced the publication of a novel inspired by Crysis 2: The book will be available in U.S. in March and will be entitled Crysis: Legion. Written by Peter Watts, who was appointed to the Science Fiction Achievement Award (HUGO), will tell the story of Crysis 2 and a New York City struggling with the invasion of an alien army, the following details.

In Crysis: Legion, terrifying alien invaders are patrolling the streets of New York, while a mysterious plague hits the human population with brutal speed. The city is in chaos, its streets and the skies are a blaze of flaming ruin. Nothing can resist the invaders, leaving only one choice for New Yorkers, flee or die.
