DICE has announced that within the next VIP Map Pack for Battlefield: Bad Company 2, the seventh to be precise, will be offered four new maps, two big returns from the first Bad Company Multiplayer: "Oasis" and "Harvest Day". The maps will not be taken from the first chapter of the simple porting, but rather benefit from the new engine characteristics, such as buildings with fully destructible Destruction 2.0, new sounds and environments fully rebuilt.

The other two maps, called "Cold War" and "Heavy Metal", are taken from the single player of Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Here is the list of playable modes for each map.

Oasis
Available for: Running, Conquest Racing Team, Team Deathmatch

Harvest Day
Available for: Running, Conquest Racing Team, Team Deathmatch

Cold War
Available for: Running, Racing Team, Team Deathmatch

Heavy Metal
Available for: Conquest Racing Team, Team Deathmatch
