The vice president Patrick Soderlund, EA Europe has revealed to Eurogamer that the next Need for Speed is in development at Black Box studios, the same as that produced in 2008 NFS: Undercover. Since few months ago, EA had announced the development of Need for Speed: Shift 2 by fixing the 'exit in November 2011 is now certain that this will be the new title of the series but will no longer be produced by Slightly Mad Studios.
