Ubisoft announces Outland: lights and shadows on Live Arcade

The gameplay of the game is based on contrasting light and shadow (and hence the parallel with Ikaruga). In fact, every time we go to the main character from one state to a light shade and vice versa: when light can not be hit by the enemies of shade, but if you want to hit them in turn must become himself shadow . The same logic applies to the clash with enemies of light, there can strike when we're gray, and this mechanism will also involve some of the puzzles present levels.
The title is being developed by the guys Housemarque and will be released during 2011. We suggest following the first five images of the game where you can enjoy the distinctive style 2D graphics in the game.
