Duke Nukem Forever could go through gearbox in?

After the successful closure last year of 3D Realms, the studio that gave birth to the famous brand Nuken Duke, even for one of the most discussed titles last decade, Duke Nukem Forever, it forecast a bitter fate. In fact the title was, in that circumstance, deleted from Take-Two who held the rights, but as reported by Kotaku in the last hour, today the company distributing the game retains full rights.

However the news that caught our attention on a possible comeback of the charismatic protagonist through Gearbox Software, Borderlands and Aliens to study known Colonial Marines, who have picked up the development of Duke Nukem Forever in a demo might come out even by the end of this year.

The president of Gearbox Software Randy Pitchford, when it refrains from issuing any statement about revealing only that everything will be clarified during the Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle in early September. There only remains to wait for those days to have more clear ideas on the matter.
