2K Games announced today the development of "Minerva's Den", a new expansion of BioShock 2 focuses exclusively on single player. The content will put gamers in the shoes of an unusual character who worked closely with the scientist Brigid Tenenbaum and tell some background of the complex history of the game. According to the developers, as well as clarify some questions remain unresolved, this expansion will be the perfect ending for Bioshock 2 and will offer players a gaming experience fascinating and mysterious.

The publisher also announced that the content, except references, will be released during the autumn. Then we are waiting for more specific information about it and see as soon as the content in action.
