Apparently the first Left 4 Dead is not dead and buried as Valve did believe in all these months, also saw the release of additional content for the sequel and the ongoing development of Portal 2. Most attention will remember that the software company had promised that with "The Passing" there would be a DLC for the first chapter that explained how the survivor's original L4D were then arrived at the place where they met with the survivor of L4D2.

One of the designers of the game, Chet Faliszek, has finally opened a glimmer of hope with a post in the official forum Valve: it would seem that the development of the expansion is coming to an end and that the first information comes in the month of August, probably at gamescom and that this will bring even richer updates. We will see perhaps the Infected of Left 4 Dead 2 also landed on the first chapter? Stay tuned to find out.
