John Edwards, lead designer of the next Mortal Kombat coming in 2011, was recently given the title of providing interesting information. Edwards announced that, after the release, the game will benefit from various DLC that will include new game modes, new arenas, new wrestlers and even deadly new fatality for existing wrestlers. The lead designer also revealed that the team is hard at work to create multiplayer experience he called "the strongest ever seen before." We await further information.
