DICE has announced via its blog on the new Battlefield Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will benefit from a patch or an update via Xbox LIVE act to fix some bugs in the game to be released Tuesday, May 11. The update is mainly concerned with weapons in the game, and balance them. Here's the full list of errors and problems to be solved.

• Increased the damage dell'UZI long haul
• The AKS74U now has a greater recoil during target
• The G3 and VSS as all other automatic rifles are now slightly faster between a stroke and another
• Increased the damage dell'MG3 to bring it at par with the other weapons LMG
• PKM, 88LMG, G3, AN94, and Shotgun 40mm will now be more useful in battle
• Fixed a bug related to the SVU that made him very effective at long distances
• Fixed a bug related to 'M95 not allowed to perform headshots with hard targets
• Fixed a bug related to SAIGA12 that appeared to be effective over long distances
