F1 2010: new info on the climate system

Andy Gray Codemasters has revealed some information regarding the 'highly anticipated F1 2010. As stated previously by the developers, the system dedicated to managing weather conditions will be the most advanced seen so far in a game: in practice, the climate will change in real time and this will have effect only visually. If for example we were to start a game on 'dry and then begin to rain, would be affected the driveability of the car and will even change the AI of the opponents on the track.

Therefore, you must change from day to our race strategy. Linked to the weather system (meteorological system) we will be called Active Track Technology, which among other things handle grip in a much more thorough than the competition: This will be calculated in blocks of 30 cm. squares so as to provide greater accuracy. If, for example, has just finished raining and the track began to dry we will have a grip uneven and we'll see that with the passage of the various cars will create the classic tracks where the track is dry: in these conditions we have to decide whether to return pits to change tires or continue the race. If we decide we continue to spin, then we should also seek the pools' s water to cool the tires and be able to get to the end without spoiling.
The info ends here, but we encourage you to continue to follow for others who are coming soon.
