The U.S. blog Kotaku has got hold of an image that would appear on a new model of motherboard for the Xbox 360: The image shows the various connectors front and rear of the console, plus a single chip that combines CPU and GPU ( developments already rumbling for some time). The detail is more interesting, however, that the whole card is much smaller than standard then it could be the fabled Xbox 360 Slim.

The noise is all but confirmed, and could also simply be a fake created by some capable modder (the fan Cooler Master seems to point in that direction, unless it is a prototype for a fan mounted commercial), but seen the revival at year-end console with Project Christmas, the arrival on the market for a slim model would certainly make sense even in light of declining costs and prices.
