In these hours is taking place in San Francisco's GDC (Game Developers Conference), the major gaming event which will conclude next Saturday, March 13. Taking advantage of the event, LucasArts announced the arrival for this summer on Xbox Live Arcade remake of Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge, cult game released in 1991 and the second chapter of the series Monkey Island. The game will be called The Secret of Monkey Island 2: Special Edition.

According to the developers, the title will make many changes from the original, first of all a renewed graphic and a full control over the protagonist. As for the remake of the first game already available for download, including The Secret of Monkey Island 2: Special Edition will not rely on the typical game play point and click "that has characterized the classic series, but the possibility to control Guybrush we pleasure in the scenarios of the game.
