Disney Interactive has announced the development of Toy Story 3: The Video Game, a title inspired by the sandbox waited Pixar feature film in theaters in mid-June. The game is in the works at Avalanche Software and will feature a story that will tell the story taken from the movie and various major modes, including one entitled "Toy Box".

The latter was to empower the player to create their own stories by going to a kind of huge box full of toys such as cowboys, aliens, robots, space and dinosaurs, with which it can interact. We look forward to further information and to know in what way will be designed this "open world" of Avalanche.

Toy Story 3: The Video Game is expected on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PC, Nintendo DS and PSP.
