Since last September Sega has begun to disseminate clues Needlemouse Project, a new project related to the mascot, Sonic. Until now, only one knew who would be the protagonist and that there would be a return to roots with a 2D platform, however today the Japanese software house has announced that the game is planned for this summer's downloadable Xbox Live Arcade with the title Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode I.

Ken Balough, Sega said that talk of "first episode" as it will be a story that will not end in this game, but in other downloadable titles that will arrive in the future.
