By the end of 2010, the Xbox 360 could be enriched by a new feature extra-fun: think the Longbox Comic Service is considering the possibility of integrating their digital stories to sell comics online with dashboard console from Microsoft. The service should be presented as a sort of iTunes comics with the ability to search, buy and read a variety of comics directly from the console, of course there will also be a zoom feature for easier reading.

The service is currently in development for PC and Apple platforms, provides for the distribution of products of different manufacturers, such as Top Cow and Image Comics, and should involve both the purchase of single copies of blocks to 99 cents from 20 publications to 10 dollars. We await any confirmation, although most likely the service will remain within America's borders.
