During an interview, lead designer of Crackdown 2 Steve Iannetta said that the story that will live in this second installment in the series will be tied to the original game: will take place exactly ten years after the events of Crackdown. In the new adventure we will be fighting against The Freaks, the group is formed by veterans of the Shi-Gen out of prison.
