The financial analyst firm NPD has released the sales data hardware and software for the U.S. console market in September 2009. Predictably, the PS3 dominated sales this month with the new slim version and the price cut of $ 100, which prompted the purchase of the uncertainty that many were waiting for this move by Sony. Xbox 360 is instead the lion's share of industry software sales, with as many as one million and half units sold for Halo 3: ODST.
